CADET tutorial and user workshop
Johannes Schmölder co-chaired the first CADET tutorial and user workshop, which took place at the Forschungszentrum Jülich from October 23-25.
The Chromatography Analysis and Design Toolkit (CADET) targets efficient simulation and optimization of chromatography and related processes. State of the art mathematical algorithms are combined with a large family of transport and binding models, including multiple unit operations. CADET is open source and freely distributed under the terms of the GPL license (www.github.com/modsim/CADET).
During the meeting, developers and experienced users presented their current scientific work using CADET and new users were introduced to the tool with tutorials and application examples. Finally, a community forum was organized for exchange and future collaboration.
