Peter Leicht  and Carola Schlumberger presented their current research results at the annual meeting of the ProcessNet research group Adsorption in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Malte Kaspereit co-authored a paper with Hoang Nguyen (now at Northumbria University, Newcastle/UK) and Tuomo Sainio (LUT – Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology, Finland) that covers an experimental-theoretical study on the production of oligosaccharides from natural sources.

Malvina Supper and Malte Kaspereit gave a talk at the 34th International Symposium on Preparative and Process Chromatography (PREP 2021, June 7-9, 2021).

Prof. Thommes is invited to give a plenary lecture at the IS2M Annual Meeting, Mulhouse (France), which will be held online May 26-28, 2021. This year the theme is: "Adsorption in Porous Solids : From the Fundamentals to Pollutants' Adsorption and Energy's Applications”

In March 2021, the International Adsorption Society inducted three scientists as new fellows of the society: Prof. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern (MPI, Magdeburg, DE), Prof. Matthias Thommes (University Erlangen-Nürnberg), and Prof. Krista Walton (Georgia Tech, Atlanta, USA).
